MateraFit

The right selection. The right proportions. The right space.

Format: Standard

Angle Bastille toward the sofa to form a conversation area, leaving space around the chair so it can swivel. Avoid wedging it between two pieces of furniture.

Depth: Shallow

For a reading corner, pair it with a small table at the side rather than a piece directly in front of the seat. This keeps the arrangement lighter and the approach to the chair clear.

Why we selected it

We selected Bastille for a design that gives the back of the chair as much attention as the front. It makes sense in a living-room arrangement where seating is seen from several sides, rather than always placed against a wall.
