MateraFit

The right selection. The right proportions. The right space.

Format: Generous

Before choosing its 96 × 39 in tabletop, mark out its footprint on the floor and test how far chairs need to pull back at the places you intend to use. The right size allows comfortable seating and easy movement around the table.

Things to consider

In a narrower dining room or one that doubles as a passageway, a 96 in table can take up too much space, both visually and in everyday use. Compare its layout with a shorter format to preserve the room’s balance.

Why we selected it

We selected Post as an anchor piece for a dining room grounded in natural materials. Visually lighter chairs and a sculptural light fixture can balance its presence without weighing down the composition.
